Speakers

Andrew Jackson Headshot

Andrew Jackson, P.E.
Pulverizers, Burners & Ignitors

Andrew is a Mechanical Engineer with Field Engineering experience on B&W boilers, pulverizers, burners and ignitors, and root cause analysis of pulverizer problems and failures. Andrew has been presenting and training on B&W Roll Wheel and E/EL pulverizers since 1990. He has been working in Field Service, Pulverizer Design, International Project Engineering, and Replacement Parts since 1977 and was a co-contributor for 2 pulverizer patents.

Eric Fuller Headshot

Eric Fuller
Pulverizer Design Engineering & Door SME

With over 26 years of extensive experience in pulverizer operations and fuel preparation at B&W, Eric holds a patent titled "System for Controlling Coal Flow in a Coal Pulverizer." His career journey includes eight years collaborating with designers and engineers in Graphics, dedicated to refining pulverizer products and pioneering new innovations. Notably, Eric played a pivotal role in inventing products for the pulverizer industry, such as the segmented yoke air seal carrier and the redesigned B&W-118 Roll Wheel® Pulverizer. He spent two years in the field focusing on pulverizer rebuilds and upgrades across the United States, particularly in installing rotating throat assemblies. Through mentorship from leading pulverizer engineers, Eric has garnered comprehensive knowledge across all aspects of B&W pulverizers. Eric spends a lot of his time at B&W’s service center advising on gearbox rebuilds, quality issues with parts and other assembly procedures that the shop may have questions on. He is also involved with the competitor parts initiative. Among his most fulfilling professional accomplishments is witnessing the successful installation and operation of his patented product, meeting or surpassing the anticipated performance metrics.
