(B&W PGG) has been recognized as a key member of the project team for the John W. Turk, Jr. Power Plant owned by American Electric Power's (AEP) Southwestern Electric Power Co. (SWEPCO), which recently was named the recipient of POWER Magazine's 2013 Plant of the Year Award. The Turk plant began commercial operation in December 2012 and is one of the most efficient, low-emission coal-fired power plants in North America.
