Our BrightLoop™ chemical looping technology produces desirable outputs and inherently isolates carbon dioxide (CO2) which can be emitted to the atmosphere or optionally compressed at a later time for storage/sequestration, enhanced oil recovery or other beneficial use.
What makes this technology unique and advantageous is the proprietary iron-oxide TranspO2rt™ particle. Through a series of chemical reactions, the TranspO2rt particle supplies the oxygen needed to convert the feedstock and produce CO2 in the absence of ambient nitrogen and produces high quality outputs. More than 95 percent of the carbon can be captured for enhanced oil recovery or other beneficial use.
