B&W's wholly owned Mountaineer C2H, LLC subsidiary has teamed with Fidelis New Energy to develop a BrightLoop™ hydrogen production and carbon capture facility at Fidelis' GigaSystem™ site in Mason County, West Virginia. The plan for the carbon-neutral energy generated is to power the on-site artificial intelligence (AI) data center campus.

Project Spotlight: FPS Coal-to-Gas Conversion

As the project's EPC contractor, FPS completed two coal-to-gas conversions for TransAlta in Alberta, Canada. With the conversions, the two units maintained their full nameplate capacity while realizing a CO2 per megawatt reduction of more than 50 percent.
