B&W Employees Volunteer at Local Children's Hospital

We’re proud to recognize more than a dozen Babcock & Wilcox employees from our Barberton, Ohio office who recently volunteered for the annual Have a Heart, Do Your Part Radiothon at Akron Children’s Hospital.
Held in partnership with local radio station WKDD, the Radiothon raised more than $650,000 over a three-day period for much-needed child-size medical equipment, patient care and research.
The B&W team helped children with crafts and games, sold raffle tickets and Radiothon apparel, registered guests and staffed a photo booth.
Donations were made through a spare change drive, call-in pledges from radio listeners, raffles, and more.
