B&W Decarbonization Technologies Featured in 2026 Global Clean Energy Compendium

The Global CCS Institute has released its “State of the Art: CCS Technologies 2026” report, once again highlighting Babcock & Wilcox’s (B&W’s) ClimateBright™ decarbonization technologies among its compendium of technology innovations supporting the continued growth and deployment of carbon capture and storage (CCS).
The report is released annually and details performance and applications of emerging CCS technologies from around the world. This year’s edition features more than 190 CCS solutions including B&W’s:
- BrightLoop™ chemical looping for low-carbon intensity hydrogen production
- OxyBright™ oxygen combustion
- SolveBright™ post-combustion carbon capture
- Flue gas pre-treatment technologies that control SO2, SO3 and other emissions
