The preferred method of payment is credit card. A form will be provided for individuals who wish to attend and pay by purchase order.

Tuition includes:

Andrew Jackson Headshot

Andrew Jackson, P.E.
Pulverizers, Burners & Ignitors

Andrew is a Mechanical Engineer with Field Engineering experience on B&W boilers, pulverizers, burners and ignitors, and root cause analysis of pulverizer problems and failures. Andrew has been presenting and training on B&W Roll Wheel and E/EL pulverizers since 1990. He has been working in Field Service, Pulverizer Design, International Project Engineering, and Replacement Parts since 1977 and was a co-contributor for two pulverizer patents.

Eric Fuller Headshot

Eric Fuller
Pulverizer Design Engineering & Door SME

With over 27 years of extensive experience in pulverizer operations and fuel preparation at B&W, Eric holds a patent titled "System for Controlling Coal Flow in a Coal Pulverizer." His career journey includes eight years collaborating with designers and engineers in Graphics, dedicated to refining pulverizer products and pioneering new innovations. Notably, Eric played a pivotal role in inventing products for the pulverizer industry, such as the segmented yoke air seal carrier and the redesigned B&W-118 Roll Wheel Pulverizer. He spent two years in the field focusing on pulverizer rebuilds and upgrades across the United States, particularly in installing rotating throat assemblies. Through mentorship from leading pulverizer engineers, Eric has garnered comprehensive knowledge across all aspects of B&W pulverizers. Eric spends a lot of his time at B&W’s service center advising on gearbox rebuilds, quality issues with parts and other assembly procedures. Among his most fulfilling professional accomplishments is witnessing the successful installation and operation of his patented product, meeting or surpassing the anticipated performance metrics.

Lamar Benton
Field Service Engineer - Competitor Pulverizers

With decades of hands-on experience in the power generation and industrial sectors, Lamar is a seasoned Field Service Engineer specializing in competitor/CE pulverizers. Known for delivering expert technical support, diagnostics, and maintenance solutions in demanding field environments, he brings extensive knowledge of pulverizer performance optimization, rebuilds, and troubleshooting. Lamar has a proven track record of reducing downtime and improving efficiency across diverse customer sites, leveraging a deep understanding of legacy and modern CE pulverizer systems. Committed to safety, precision, and customer satisfaction, he serves as a trusted technical resource for plant operators and maintenance teams nationwide.

Craig Whaley
Field Service Engineer

With 36 years of experience in the power generation and industrial sectors, Craig is a highly skilled Field Service Engineer specializing in E/EL pulverizers. He is recognized for providing expert on-site support, from troubleshooting and performance tuning to complete rebuilds and preventative maintenance. Craig’s deep technical knowledge of E/EL pulverizers has helped clients significantly reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency. Dedicated to safety, accuracy, and customer service, he is a trusted partner to plant operators and maintenance teams across the country.

Mike Bauer
MillCare® Program Manager
Babcock & Wilcox Construction Co., LLC

Mike Bauer has 28 years with Babcock & Wilcox (B&W) and currently serves as MillCare® Program Manager for B&W Construction Co., LLC (BWCC). He joined B&W in 1997 after a decade in the U.S. Army. Starting as a Field Service Engineer, Mike supported engineering and construction, pulverizer rebuilds, boiler inspections, and training—primarily for paper mills and power plants in the Southeast.

In 2012, he moved to BWCC, managing full-scale pulverizer maintenance programs, contract execution, project planning, and field staff supervision. He brings extensive hands-on experience with B&W and competitor pulverizers.

Director – Global Parts & Service

Susan Bucher is a Director in Global Parts & Service for Babcock & Wilcox. Her teams are responsible for supporting the domestic pulverizer aftermarket business and service centers in Ohio and Utah. With well over 30 years in the industry, Susan believes in the importance of serving our customers and going beyond their expectations. “This seminar gives B&W the opportunity to share our knowledge and expertise with others who can then take back what they learn and immediately apply it to their work processes.”
