Titanium™ Boiler Cleaning Controls
and Intelligent Sootblowing

The Titanium™ boiler cleaning control systems from B&W integrate and upgrade B&W’s legacy SentrySeries® advanced sootblower controls and Power Clean® intelligent sootblowing (ISB) systems into a modern platform. The result is a system designed to provide flexibility and optimum boiler cleanliness in a user-friendly package.

Depending on your application and requirements, standard or advanced sootblower control systems are available, as well as intelligent sootblowing using B&W’s performance-based model.

All our Titanium control system options can be easily upgraded onto your existing system, are PLC-based, and can be installed on B&W and non-B&W boilers, regardless of the original sootblower manufacturer.

Flexible design logic readily accommodates a wide range of infrequent or abnormal situations which often are not easily accounted for in a DCS-based control system.

  • Controls up to 999 sootblowers, including water cleaning devices
  • Programmable for up to 70 sequences
  • Includes historian for baseline data and trending
  • Maintains boiler parameters in optimal ranges using closed-loop sootblowing, thereby improving heat rate
  • Key performance parameters (goals) for each boiler section are defined which automatically prioritizes and determines the cleaning devices to be operated
  • Monitors heat transfer sensors for estimation of thermal transient-induced furnace wall tube crack growth
  • Specialized option for recovery boilers is available
