The B&W and Black Hills Corporation Oxy-Fuel Demonstration Project, currently under development, will be located in Wyoming and is the first commercial scale carbon capture and storage (CCS) demonstration plant in the world.
The project is a joint effort by Black Hills Corporation, The Babcock & Wilcox Company, Air Liquide and Battelle to develop and test the oxy-fuel combustion process at commercial scale.
