Delta Power Services, LLC (DPS) is the fourth-largest power plant operations and maintenance (O&M) services provider in the United States.

Based in Houston, Texas, DPS is a subsidiary of Babcock & Wilcox Power Generation Group, Inc. DPS employs approximately 195 people and has O&M contracts at eight facilities.

These facilities include pulverized coal thermal plants, combined cycle combustion plants, simple cycle peaking units, biomass thermal projects and central heating plants. DPS also has experience operating hydro-electric projects.

Operational Services:

• Operate plants in a safe, compliant and efficient manner to maximize the owner's profit and sustain the long-term value of the plant and infrastructure.
• Implement or transition existing management programs.
• Maintain care, custody and control over the plant and the site.
• Advise and recommend spares, tooling and inventory requirements.
• Recommend plant and procedural changes to improve or correct operability, maintainability and reliability issues.
• Record readings and maintain all operating logs and records.
• Develop formal operational plans and administrative procedures.

Maintenance Services:

• Transition or, where needed, develop and install a computerized maintenance management system to include materials and parts inventories.
• Schedule and manage MV and HV circuit breaker maintenance and relay testing.
• Implement and manage programs including Predictive Maintenance, Vibration Analysis, Lube Oil Quality, (transformer) Dissolved Gas Analysis and Thermography.
• Plan, schedule and manage major maintenance and outage activities and perform routine and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain roads, buildings and plant infrastructure.

Administrative Services:

• Administer utility, qualifying facility (QF) and Thermal Host agreements.
• Establish purchasing and accounts payable systems.
• Maintain inventory and inventory records.
• Assist the owner in securing, maintaining and complying with any permit, license or other governmental approval required for the ownership or operation of the plant.
