As a result of B&W TSG's long-term involvement in the nuclear industry, the company has developed a quality-conscious culture and working environment.
B&W TSG Quality Assurance (QA) program provides coverage for a wide range of nuclear and environmental quality requirements. The program is written consistent with ANSI/ASME NQA-1, Quality Assurance Program Requirements for Nuclear Facilities. A quality program that meets the requirements of NQA-1 is generally consistent with the requirements of ISO 9001.
Additionally, B&W TSG QA Program complies with the requirements of Department of Energy Order 414.1, Quality Assurance, and the QA Rule 10CFR830.120.
B&W TSG Inc.'s Quality Assurance Program (QAP) is designed to meet the 18 criteria of American National Standard NQA-1 and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B. There is an interrelationship between the B&W TSG's QAP and various quality specifications, including the 10 criteria of 10CFR830.120. The B&W TSG Inc. entities involved with DOE/NNSA weapons activities also comply with the requirements of QC1, Quality Management Policy.
