The High Capacity FM (HCFM) boilers are extensions of the FM D-type boiler design.
High capacity boilers can be assembled in the shop, at a barge dock or in the field. Shipping dimensions of these units require that they be shipped by barge or ocean vessel.
The design is for oil and gas firing and uses membrane furnace walls for pressurized operation. Multiple burners are used for the increased capacity.
