Our WEARESISTOR® asymmetric tire is designed for extended service life. We added material in the predictable high-wear area of the profile. The asymmetric WEARESISTOR tire is available in all B&W mill sizes and is compatible with standard wheels (hubs) and existing standard profile segments.
The WEARESISTOR LP® (low-profile) tire combines the extended wear-life of our exclusive asymmetric design with a low-profile geometry. The combination of asymmetric and low-profile tire contours significantly extends wear-life while reducing power consumption.
The unique grinding profile of the WEARESISTOR LP tire requires replacement of the standard-profile grinding segments with low-profile segments. These new segments have a significantly greater amount of material and are designed for longer wear-life.
