Description

This seminar provides a general overview of coal-fired power plant equipment and its basic operation. Basic power plant components, from the coal storage yard to the stack, will be discussed. Basic plant cycles will be presented along with some additional product functional details. Course includes live demonstrations, working models and short video presentations. Helpful reference and supplemental handout materials will be included.

Who Should Attend?

This course is designed for entry-level technical and non-technical employees. This course is for those who are looking for a broad, general overview of how coal-fired power plant equipment operates and how all components fit into the overall plant arrangement. A technical or engineering background is not required to understand this basic information.
