Diamond Power International, Inc. (DPII), headquartered in Lancaster, Ohio, approximately 30 miles southeast of Columbus, is a subsidiary of The Babcock & Wilcox Company.
DPII is the largest supplier of boiler-cleaning equipment in the world. It supplies cleaning systems for heat transfer surfaces in boilers of all sizes and the burning of all fossil fuels. It serves domestic and international electric utilities; pulp and paper, petrochemical, and hydrocarbon process industries; and other industries and municipalities.
Allen-Sherman-Hoff, a division of DPII located in Malvern, Pennsylvania, is a full supplier of ash handling systems and service. Allen-Sherman-Hoff's complete line of ash handling systems include pressure and vacuum fly ash systems, dewatering and recirculation systems, and bottom ash handling systems that includes the Beaumont Birch drag chain conveyor technology.
Applied Synergistics Inc., a subsidiary of DPII located in Lynchburg, Virginia, is a supplier of intelligent control systems as well as boiler diagnostic equipment and Diamond Electronics closed-circuit viewing equipment.
DPII was originally founded in 1903, and its Lancaster headquarters, which features more than 450,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space, began operations in 1950. DPII has over 1,300 employees worldwide and has facilities in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Finland, Germany, Scotland, South Africa, Sweden and Thailand.
