S. Robert Cochran

President of Babcock & Wilcox Technical Services Group, Inc.

S. Robert (Bob) Cochran is President of Babcock & Wilcox Technical Services Group, Inc. (B&W TSG), an operating group of The Babcock & Wilcox Company. As President, Mr. Cochran has the responsibility of overseeing the operations of the business associated with government entities, including the U.S. Department of Energy. Prior to his current position, Mr. Cochran served as President of BWXT Services, Inc.

Cochran joined B&W in 2005 as Vice President of Sales, Development and Business Management, responsible for coordinating the business and strategic development programs within BWXT and overseeing the Washington, D.C. operations office.

Prior to joining B&W, Mr. Cochran had more than 20 years of experience in operations and development within the engineering, construction, facilities management and operation, and environmental technology and remediation industry. Prior to joining BWXT, he served as President and CEO of MAGma LLC, where he provided management and operational restructuring, strategic development and acquisition/divestiture services to the public utility, engineering and construction and Department of Energy business sectors. As Senior Vice President for Tyco Infrastructure, Mr. Cochran led the company in its development and delivery of services, resulting in penetration into new markets and service areas valued at more than $1 billion. Mr. Cochran served as President of Kaiser Group International with operational responsibility for the North American engineering and construction business units. He served as Managing Director of Kaiser-Hill LLC (Rocky Flats Closure Project), Space Gateway LLC (Joint Base Operations Kennedy/Canaveral/Patrick), as well as the $3 billion Boston Harbor cleanup, Gramercy Alumina Plant reconstruction, and construction of the Motorola MOS 12 plant.

Authoring 10 technical publications during his professional career, Mr. Cochran received his B.S. from James Madison University and his executive M.B.A. from the University of Richmond's Robins School of Business.
